The Border Patrol visits us. We moved on to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and decided to stay on their campground. The officers patrol here regularly, but Jorge is magnetically attracted to Arminius and the German flag. Of course, also Jorge was once stationed in Germany. He is fascinated, curious, and has got time. He inspects (without ulterior move) technical equipment and cabin, and as a countermove we may have a look around in his official car and the tiny air-conditioned prison cell in the back of the pick-up for eight unlucky Mexicans. Jorge isnt bashful to be photographed and he finally gives us two challenge coins of his unit as a present. We hope he still has one; otherwise he might be forced to pay for the drinks tonight when challenged by his colleagues. We would really feel sorry for Jorge.
