In the evening we are in the meanwhile for the third time invited to Jerry and Donna to watch a movie in their impressive home cinema. The neighbours of Pam and Malcolm are as all of us fans of Firefly. The science fiction series about a spaceship called Firefly, its crew and their adventures was broken off before all shot episodes were broadcasted. The gags and points turned out to be too intelligent and demanding for the 18 to 36 years old male target group of the commercial TV station. The Firefly producer didnt want to disappoint his fans and shot a movie to conclude the story. Tonight, we watch that movie, which isnt on the DVD with all episodes that Malcolm gave us. Its really a pity that this very funny science fiction series didnt make it into German TV.
